Will we see a £20k winner?!

If you follow us on social media, you will no doubt have seen us posting all about the Race to 100 Birdies on the 2020 Pro Tour. We’ve sponsored the tour by offering anyone who can achieve 100 birdies across the tour’s events, £20,000…

Not only this, if this is achieved, we will also be giving away £500 to four fans who have entered our 2020 Pro Tour competition on Instagram and Twitter!

So, with lots of prizes resting on the performance of the players, here we are…

20 events down and two to go. 89 birdies achieved and eleven to find at Bradford and Huddersfield Golf Clubs. As we draw to a close of the debut 2020 Pro Tour season, there are two events to go and a certain Nick Poppleton is on a serious hunt to win the McClarrons Sport Race to 100 Birdies.

Back in July, it looked like the bonus was nailed on with Nick and others raking in the birdies. Others that must too be mentioned are Nick McCarthy and Tom Chapman, who have also shown great promise in hitting the magic number across the tour. I wonder how Popps slept last night and if he’ll get much sleep on Sunday… it’s all to play for but will be no mean feat.

For obvious reasons, which we won’t harp on about, the season was disturbed, meaning Chris Hanson and Adam Walker, Founders of the tour, had the trying task of ensuring the tour could go ahead and finish one way or another. And here we are now, after a remarkable first season. We look forward to seeing how the players round up!

The £20k bonus that has aligned the tour has given players an additional incentive to attack the courses over the last few months, chasing birdies with increased PR. A proven, winning addition to any golf tour, we at McClarrons Sport offer creative bonus incentives to support any level of golf tour. Let us know if we can help you bring some extra excitement and PR to your sporting event!

And finally, hats off to the Chris and Adam on an extremely successful debut tour, onto next year!!
