There may be occasions where you need financial support – such as if you’re out of work, on sick leave, or have unsustainable credit commitments.  If this is the case, there are organisations that may be able to offer advice:

MoneyHelper is a free service that provides advice on money matters, such as managing debt, benefits, pension options, and budgeting.

How we can help

All our staff are trained to identify when people may be vulnerable and to offer tailored support.  There are many ways in which we will endeavour to help; some of these may include:

• Speaking with a nominated person to act on your behalf.
• Issuing correspondence in large print.
• Using preferred communication methods, such as writing instead of speaking over the phone.
• Signposting to relevant organisations.
• Liaising with your insurance company around any extra support that may be required.
