Meet Tom & Louise, who join our Commercial Team

Our service at McClarrons is always in high demand, which is why we continue to expand to ensure we’re still delivering the service we’ve become known for, to a high standard.

With this in mind, we’re delighted to welcome our newest recruits, Trainee Account Executive Tom Frame and Account Handler Louise Milner. We put a few questions to them both to find out a little bit more about their experience and how they’re settling in so far:

Tom Frame – Trainee Account Executive

What were you doing before McClarrons?
Before McClarrons I was working as a Commercial Account Handler for DE Ford Insurance Brokers in York. I was there for just short of three years and spent time in their Charities and Commercial teams. Before joining Fords, I spent three years at the University of Sheffield studying Economics.

What made you want to join us?
Speaking to the team before joining, it quickly became clear how much of a fast-moving, dynamic company McClarrons is – and I was confident that this was a great fit for me. McClarrons has a great reputation in the local area but also in the wider insurance market, and so I was excited about becoming part of the team.

What have you been most surprised by about the company since starting?
I have noticed how important collaboration between departments is to the company’s success. Although the business is split up between various sectors, all of the teams seem to work closely together which is great, as it allows ideas to be shared. It is also helpful for me as a newbie as it gives me a chance to meet people from all areas of the business!

Louise Milner – Account Handler

What were you doing before McClarrons?
I was an Account Manager for an IT company, looking after a wide range of businesses and their IT needs.

What made you want to join us?
I had heard some great things about working at McClarrons and love that it is a family-owned business servicing the insurance needs of the local area and further afield.

What have you been most surprised by about the company since starting?
What a great team spirit there is throughout the company, and the wide range of different insurance policies are available to clients.

Tom and Louise join a team of twenty-six Account Handlers across our three North Yorkshire offices and those working remotely.
