New Faces at McClarrons: Growing Our Teams

McClarrons is delighted to welcome Beth and Tom to our Commercial Team, alongside Charlotte, who has joined our Care & Social Welfare Team. Each brings a unique background, valuable experience, and a shared commitment to delivering excellent service to our clients.

Beth joined our Commercial Team as a Client Advisor, bringing with her a strong background in retail operations and management, where she developed a clear understanding of the importance of team morale and delivering great customer experiences. She later moved into the public sector in a business support role, gaining valuable experience in handling a wide range of client queries and working in a fast-paced environment.

Beth is particularly excited about the relationship-driven nature of the insurance industry. Reflecting on her appointment, she shared: “What I am most looking forward to in this field is the social aspect – creating and maintaining positive relationships and making things clearer and easier for clients; especially with something as important as protecting their business.”

When exploring new opportunities, McClarrons stood out to Beth for its people-focused approach. Beth said: “It has been abundantly clear since before I started that McClarrons care not only about their clients but also their staff. It feels like the kind of place I can continue to learn, develop and be part of a supportive team.” Looking ahead, Beth is focused on building her knowledge within commercial insurance and growing into a trusted advisor for her clients.

Outside of work, she enjoys arts and crafts, socialising with friends, scenic walks and exploring new cities on short breaks.

Tom also joined the Commercial Team as a Client Advisor, having started his career in insurance as a Trainee Account Handler, where he developed a strong foundation in the industry. Keen to continue his progression, he saw McClarrons as the ideal place to further develop his knowledge and experience.

Reflecting on his interest in insurance, Tom shared: “I enjoy insurance because it’s never the same every day, I get to work with businesses across a wide range of different industries.”

He was particularly drawn to the opportunities for growth and support within the business. Looking ahead, Tom’s goal is to achieve his ACII qualification, currently he is working towards his Certificate, and progress into a Client Executive role. In his current position, he will support clients across a variety of sectors, helping them understand their risks and secure the right cover for their needs.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys playing golf, preferably in warmer weather, and spending time socialising with friends.

Charlotte has recently joined the Care & Social Welfare team as a Client Advisor, bringing with her over 10 years of experience in customer service. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with customers to resolve queries, provide support, and deliver a high standard of service.

Charlotte was attracted to McClarrons not only for its client-focused approach but also for the opportunity to grow within a forward-thinking and collaborative business. She is keen to continue developing her expertise within the insurance sector, building specialist knowledge and taking on new challenges as her role evolves.

Reflecting on her appointment, Charlotte shared: “McClarrons is a great company with a strong reputation. I’m particularly drawn to the chance to develop my skills, take on new challenges, and contribute to a team that values professionalism and client relationships.”

Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the countryside with her dog, and staying active.
