We welcome Nick Pay as our Head of Commercial

We have been operating for over 30 years, initially established as a specialist rural insurance broker. Over the years, the company has developed substantially, and we now operate in a number of sectors, including; commercial, care & social welfare, farm, equine, property owners and private clients.

As the company has evolved, so has the structure of the organisation, and we welcome Nick Pay as Head of our Commercial Team. A Chartered Insurance Practitioner, Nick joins the company from a national broker with extensive experience of working in commercial insurance. Nick has led a number of high-performing teams in his previous roles, as well as managing portfolios of major UK and international accounts.

Sean McClarron, Managing Director, said of the appointment: “We are very pleased to welcome Nick to the team; he brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience with him, which will undoubtedly improve our commercial insurance offering for clients. I very much look forward to working with Nick and seeing our commercial team continue to develop.”

Nick will be responsible for managing our team of experienced commercial Account Executives, maintaining and developing our relationships with insurers and partners to ensure we are doing the very best for our clients, and continuously looking for ways in which we can improve our commercial insurance proposition.

Nick Pay commented: “I’m very excited about my new role at McClarrons; the company is forward-thinking, continues to grow and upholds its ethos of offering ‘service without compromise’ to clients as it looks to the future. I’m very much looking forward to working with the team!”.
