McClarrons Claims Department welcomes new Members

McClarrons have brought on two new claims handlers, whilst long-standing Claims Handler, Stuart Torrance, has taken up the position of Claims Manager.

With McClarrons’ continued expansion into new geographical areas and at our head office in Malton, the claims team has also developed to meet the ever-increasing number of claims we are seeing. Stuart Torrance takes over the position of Claims Manager from Elaine Taylor, who has recently retired, whilst Annette Izett and Patrick Musgrave join as Claims Handlers.

Annette joins the team with 12 years’ worth of experience in insurance whilst Patrick joins from Minster Law Solicitors where he specialised in road traffic accident claims. You can find out more about Annette and Patrick, and the rest of the claims team, here.

Our in-house claims team deal with all claims clients have; by liaising with third parties, insurers and loss adjusters, the claims process is dealt with on behalf of clients to provide them with as fast and fair a settlement as possible.

Stuart Torrance, newly appointed Claims Manager at McClarrons, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Annette and Patrick to the team. As the company has grown, inevitably we are helping clients with more claims, and as an insurance brokerage that prides itself on its service, it is vital that we continue to offer our clients the claims support they need at what is usually a very stressful time.”

As one of the few brokers that continues to invest in an in-house claims team, Sean McClarron, Managing Director at McClarrons, said of the appointments: “We have always believed that having an in-house claims team is of great value to our clients, after all your insurance policy is only truly tested when you need to make a claim. By developing our team, we are able to continue to offer this valuable service our clients have come to rely upon.”

We are continuing to look for enthusiastic and driven people to join our claims team so if you would be interested in finding out more, please contact Susan Lewis by phoning 01653 697055 or by emailing susan.lewis@mcclarroninsurance.com.
