McClarrons win Broker Innovation of the Year Award
On Friday 7th October 2016, McClarrons were announced as winners of the Broker Innovation of the Year Award for our design and development of Rural Protect – an insurance policy specifically designed to protect the interests of rural businesses.
Having identified a significant gap in the market, McClarrons decided to build its own product supported by global insurer AXA and legal firm rradar. Rural Protect provides a specialist type of management liability insurance tailored to the unique requirements of the rural sector.
With many rural businesses facing increased employment legislation along with increased regulations and potential fines from the HSE, we found that there was a significant gap in the insurance market that needed to be filled. In addition, Rural Protect not only offers cover for Directors and Officers of limited companies but also of partnerships and sole traders.
