Meet our new Richmond team members

Having recently opened our new office in Richmond, we introduce you to our new staff based at the Richmond office; Stuart, Steph and Tina.

Steph Bellamy, Account Handler

Steph started working in insurance in December 2014 and mainly focuses on motor, marine and travel insurance at McClarrons. Steph started in the industry as an apprentice, working through her CII qualifications and getting an NVQ in financial services.

Steph’s time growing up was spent partly in Germany and partly in England, with her family moving back and forth for several years. Steph has lived in various locations around the country and Yorkshire, including Catterick and Beverley, but moved further North to Richmond over a year ago.

In her spare time, Steph is always out and about doing something with her friends whether it be going to parties, shopping or paintballing!

Stuart Savage, Account Handler

Stuart moved to Catterick Garrison 10 years ago, where he worked in agricultural insurance in York and where he married his wife, Leanne. Stuart has worked in the insurance and claims industry for around 20 years; this, teamed with his farming background, has given Stuart the experience and knowledge to offer clients specialist rural insurance advice.

Stuart has developed many community links, having previously been a Halberdier for the Mayor of Richmond and currently being a member and Chairman of Richmond Round Table. Much of Stuart’s time outside of work is spent doing charitable Round Table activities but he also watches as much Motor Racing and Rugby Union as possible, loves to cook and watches what his wife describes as “very dull” history documentaries. Much of his time is also spent looking after their rescue rabbit, Ted.

Tina Wylie, Team Leader

Tina has been working in the insurance industry since 1977, having only a short break to spend time with family some 20 years ago. Her time working in the insurance world has provided Tina with an abundance of knowledge and experience, enabling her to offer clients professional and sound advice.

Although Tina and her husband have moved house 10 times, Tina has always remained fairly local to Richmond, having been born at her parents’ pub in Hunton.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys spending time with her family and friends and looking after 3 dogs, 2 of which belong to her son and the other belonging to her daughter, as well as going to the cinema.
