To start 2022, the Commercial Team has welcomed two new members of staff – Sarah Best as Account Handler, and Katrina Lucas as Lead Handler.
Beginning her career with Legal and General, Katrina now has many years of insurance experience and joins us most recently from Towergate in Hull. Katrina will be working with our larger clients who have more complex and intricate insurance needs, quite often needing multiple policies, whilst also working to help us develop our proposition in the East Yorkshire region.
Katrina said of her appointment: “I joined McClarrons because I believe in their core values; by working collaboratively and having service and reliability at the fore of everything we do, we can offer an excellent client service. On top of this, everyone in the office has been extremely friendly and helpful since I started and I can see the values are important to those I have met. I am very much looking forward to meeting and working with our East Yorkshire-based clients.”
Sarah comes from a banking background, having spent many years with Virgin Money, most recently as Banking Centre Manager. Sarah will be working to support our Commercial Team’s Compact Risk offering initially, while also expanding her technical insurance knowledge and working on her personal development through qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Insurance.
Upon joining the team, Sarah commented: “I am really excited to be joining the McClarrons team. After only a week in the company, it is clear to see that everyone strives to deliver an outstanding level of customer service, underpinned by the company’s vision and core values. This is something I am immensely passionate about, and I look forward to being able to contribute to the company’s ‘service without compromise’ mantra.”
