Lorraine joins McClarrons with a wealth of experience and over 20 years working in the insurance industry; after spending the last year working within Towergate’s Caring Professions division, where she was responsible for a team of Account Executives, Lorraine is looking forward to being a part of McClarrons growth in the healthcare sector whilst ensuring outstanding client service.
Prior to her time at Towergate, Lorraine worked within the Health and Care department at another national broker where she spent 9 years as an Account Executive, working with a variety of care clients with a multitude of differing needs.
On appointment, Lorraine detailed her decision to join McClarrons as being ‘easy’ and feels the values McClarrons hold themselves to align with those of her own. Lorraine prides herself on delivering outstanding client service and exceeding expectations, alongside the provision of accurate expert insurance advice.
Jonathan Copley, Head of Care & Social Welfare at McClarrons said: “Opportunities to work with specialists such as Lorraine do not come around too often. Lorraine joins McClarrons bringing her extensive experience working with both charities and social care organisations on their insurance programmes, with her.
Although based in West Yorkshire, in her role as Client Executive, Lorraine will be working with clients nationwide. The wealth of knowledge Lorraine brings to the team will be invaluable, assisting us with training and product development, as well as helping clients to find the right insurance solutions for them.
Recruitment is a real struggle for many industries at present and I am really pleased to have Lorraine join McClarrons to spearhead our future growth.”
Alongside Lorraine, we have also recently welcomed a new Client Advisor to our Care & Social Welfare Team – Emily Kilvington. Emily joins us with a wealth of experience working in the Care sector, as well as lots of financial experience from her more recent roles with Aviva. Emily will support our clients and Client Executives by sourcing and negotiating terms with insurers, ensuring clients receive accurate and compliant documentation, and will be there to advise clients on any insurance issues throughout the year.
We are pleased to see our Care & Social Welfare team grow and develop alongside our clients; we are committed to continuing to build strong specialist teams who provide both comprehensive insurance advice and solutions to organisations, protecting them today and into the future.
