How McClarrons has grown during the pandemic

Sadly, what seemed to hit our communities hard by this pandemic, second to the losses of life and struggles of our NHS, was the loss of jobs. With the pandemic causing an interruption to businesses, it meant that the insurance industry had a lot to deal with. So, as the industry became busy, so did we. We have supported our clients by picking up the phone, writing blogs and articles, and offering the best advice and service possible.

McClarrons has grown during the pandemic

We are thankful that, at a time like this, our business has continued to develop. Since the first lockdown began on 23rd March 2020, we have welcomed 20 new members of staff.

We have expanded every one of our teams by introducing one or more new members to each department, including: Business, Rural, Care & Social Welfare, and Art & Private Clients (via McClarrons Affinity), Marketing, Finance, and Claims. All made possible thanks to our team, who are dedicated to providing service without compromise, as well as living and breathing our core values.

Sean McClarron, Managing Director, comments: “I am very proud of the culture and philosophy we have at McClarrons and, despite the challenges we have all faced throughout the past year, am delighted with how we have worked together, remotely, to support our clients and one another.”

We’re recruiting

Even after that, we are still recruiting and have many vacancies available as we continue to grow. With social and remote working environments and a number of offices across Yorkshire, we’re experiencing an exciting year of growth with people who are passionate about what they do.

Through personal development opportunities, we aim to offer our staff a career, not just a job. Don’t just take our word for it – some of our team, ranging from long serving to fairly recently started. Rebecca, our Area Team Manager who started with us over 15 years ago carrying out administrative duties, has worked her way up to overseeing operations and undertaking project management.

With recent expansion and even more on the horizon, it means that now really is a brilliant time to join the company.

McClarrons Selection Days

We hold regular Selection Days sessions which have been designed to give candidates, applying for one of the various current vacancies we have available, the opportunity to demonstrate their skills, understanding, insight and values.

To find out more about the opportunities we have available, contact Lauren Dean on 01653 697055 or by emailing your CV to lauren.dean@mcclarroninsurance.com.
