McClarrons Welcome New Team Member to the Claims Team

Due to McClarrons’ continued growth we have taken the decision to develop our in-house claims team by taking on new team member, Melissa Pickering.

Melissa will aid McClarrons’ management of the increasing number of claims we are seeing due to the expansion of the business.

Sean McClarron, Managing Director at McClarrons, commented on the importance of having an in-house claims team, “We purchase insurance to help protect ourselves should the worst happen. However, what we find to be of extreme value to our clients is having the support and guidance of experts who can manage a client’s claim and negotiate with insurers on their behalf should they need us to”.

Being one of the few insurance brokers that still invests in an in-house claims team, Mr McClarron continued, “We strongly believe in the value that clients receive from having someone who can help them through the claims process, especially at a time when they are likely to have a lot to do and think about”.

Last year alone McClarrons’ claims department settled over 1,400 claims with a total claims value in excess of £5million. With these figures growing, we are determined to maintain the high level of service we offer to clients.

Elaine Taylor, Claims Manager at McClarrons, said, “We are very excited to be welcoming Melissa on board. As a department that is always busy trying to help clients through stressful times, it is important that we have the resource to continue being able to commit the time necessary to them”.
