At McClarrons, we have developed substantially over the years, servicing a number of sectors, including commercial, care & social welfare, property owners and private clients. However, our roots lie in the agricultural and equestrian sectors.
With the business expanding, we have made the decision to welcome a new Farm & Equine Account Executive – Andy Rhodes. Andy joins the McClarrons team from national insurance broker, Jelf, where he held the position of Farm Account Executive & Associate Director. In this role, Andy worked with a vast array of farm and equine businesses, as well as helping to develop agricultural-based products.
Andy joins McClarrons with over 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Having worked in both sales and underwriting, he has a strong understanding of not only the technical side of insurance but is also able to understand and help clients with their individual needs – putting together robust insurance solutions for them.

Andy brings a huge amount of experience with him to the team and will be a great asset for us at McClarrons, being able to understand the intricacies of farm and equine insurance, as well as being able to share his knowledge with the team and clients.”

Andy will oversee the area of Malton, all the way across to Skipton and up to Harrogate, covering the whole of the A1 corridor.
