We have specialised in the farm and equine sectors for over 30 years, and are continuing to invest in and develop our Rural Team. We welcome Thom Jones as an Account Executive based in our Richmond office and Jessica Dixon as an Account Handler at our head office in Malton.
Thom joins the company with over 14 years’ experience in the insurance industry and over 4 working purely in agricultural insurance. Thom’s knowledge within the sector has developed through working with an array of different agricultural businesses, allowing him to understand clients’ requirements and suggest suitable covers that will provide them with peace of mind around their protection.
Jess continues her career in insurance at McClarrons having spent her last 2 years working with NFU Mutual, specialising in claims in the farm and equine worlds. Jess has an in-depth understanding of these sectors, the various covers that are available and how policy wordings respond in the event of a claim. This experience enables Jess to make appropriate recommendations to clients, respond to queries efficiently and explain the implications of various covers.
The expansion comes as McClarrons continues to grow in our various specialist sectors, and we endeavour to provide farmers and rural businesses across North Yorkshire with the specialist insurance advice and cover they require, helping them to protect both their businesses and livelihoods.
