We are pleased to announce that we will have a stand at both the Driffield Show and the Ryedale Show this year. At our stands, you will find a number of our Farm Team waiting to have a chat, with a drink and a sausage roll, and the chance to enter our prize draw to win a jeroboam of Bourgogne Pinot Noir!
As you may know, McClarrons’ origins lie within agricultural insurance. Our Executive Chairman’s father, Roy McClarron, founded the company in 1988 after working for another rural insurance company, feeling as though the needs of farming businesses were not being met by the insurance companies of the time. So, from day one, McClarrons has taken great pride in being a truly independent insurance brokerage with a dedicated Farm Team.
To this day, McClarrons remains very proud of its origins. We continue to provide farmers across the country with independent insurance advice and support, arranging clients’ cover through insurers who appreciate the demands and risks of farming businesses, whatever their specific operations.
Our Farm Team have a true understanding of the trials and tribulations of the farming industry, with many of them having their own personal ties to farming, meaning they can speak your language and arrange cover that provides you with real value.

Terms and conditions apply:
- Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Proof of age may be requested by any winner due to the nature of the prize.
- The competition will run on Wednesday 22nd July 2026 for the duration of Driffield Show 2026, and again on Tuesday 28th July 2026 for the duration of Ryedale Show. McClarrons reserve the right to end the competition at any time during both days.
- There will be a maximum of 1 winner per event.
- The winner will be selected at random on Monday 27th July 2026 for Driffield Show, and Monday 3rd August 2026 for Ryedale Show.
- The winner will be notified via email within 7 days of the prize draw. If we do not hear from a winner within 10 days of them being notified, we will select another winner at random.
- Employees of McClarrons Ltd, their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
- No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered, and the prizes are not transferable.
- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants, will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- You are providing your information to McClarrons Ltd and not to any other party.
