McClarrons- A pandemic later

McClarrons – a pandemic later

On 19th July, the government finally lifted all lockdown restrictions! Since then, the whole McClarrons team finally got together to enjoy their first (in a long time) non-virtual social. Here is what McClarrons have been up to while eagerly awaiting the end of this pandemic.

We have grown during the Pandemic

We are thankful that our business has continued to develop and grow despite the past year’s hurdles. Since the first lockdown began on 23rd March 2020, we have expanded every one of our teams by introducing one or more new members to each department. We haven’t stopped there as we continue to recruit with numerous vacancies available.

Celebrating 32 years

In 2020, McClarrons celebrated their 32nd year in business by raising a generous amount of money for a local Malton-based charity. The business usually takes part in several charity fundraising events throughout the year, but this year had to be a slightly different due to Covid-19. As the famous Steve Jobs saying goes, “Great things in business are never done by one person. They’re done by a team of people” and with this is mind, the McClarrons team set themselves multiple challenges and targets relating to the number 3.2/32. Find out about what the team got up to in their challenges, here.

Our Vision & Core Values

Our vision and core values underpin everything we do, from the Roy McClarron Award and our Selection Day process, to how we provide our clients with ‘service without compromise’. Our team’s collective determination in maintaining and living by our core values allows us to support clients across our niche sectors, including Commercial, Rural, Care & Social Welfare, and Art & Private Clients (via McClarrons Affinity). Whether it be offering specialist advice on cover or assisting clients through a complex claim, we have worked determinedly to be there for our clients throughout the pandemic.

New and old partners

We would like to thank our partners, old and new, for their continued support and effort in the projects we have accomplished together. The past year has by no means stopped the opportunity for new projects and partnerships, and if anything, it has encouraged us to collaborate to develop new and innovative propositions to better aid our clients.

Take a look at what we have collaborating on with our partners, here.

Although 2020, and so far the majority of 2021, hasn’t been what we thought it would be, looking back we realise just how much we have accomplished and think about all the clients that we have been able to protect and support during these times. We’d like to thank our entire team, our partners and our clients, for sticking by us and helping one another through what has been an incredibly challenging time. The McClarrons team have truly embraced the change of working from home during the pandemic, where we have continuously strived to provide service without compromise to our clients – we’d like to thank our clients for their support as we evolved to our new ways of working.

We have welcomed many new faces through the virtual Selection Days, built new partnerships and products, and supported a number of events and charities across the year. Now that restrictions have lifted, we welcome back to the office more and more team members, and look forward to seeing some of our customers too.

We can’t quite believe it has been a two years since our last Summer Social, but finally, in what feels like forever, we were able to enjoy another social together this year. An ideal way to celebrate, what we hope is, the end of a pandemic.
